Arrival in Uganda

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be picked up by our driver and transferred to your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe, where you will spend the night.

Day 2

Transfer to Jinja and White-water Rafting

After breakfast, we will depart for Jinja, the adventure capital of Uganda, located on the shores of Lake Victoria.

Jinja offers a range of adventure activities, but the most popular is white-water rafting on the Nile. Brace yourself for an adrenaline-pumping experience as you navigate through the rapids of the mighty Nile.

In the afternoon, we will visit the source of the Nile, the longest river in the world. Here, you will have an opportunity to take a boat ride to the exact spot where the Nile begins its 6,500-kilometer journey to the Mediterranean Sea.

Later in the evening, we will drive back to your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, we will depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to almost half of the world's remaining population of mountain gorillas.

The park is located in southwestern Uganda and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The journey to the park is long but rewarding, taking you through beautiful countryside scenery with an en-route stopover at the Equator crossing for photographs and a simple experiment.

Upon arrival, we will check into your safari lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Early morning, we will head to the park headquarters for registration and briefing before setting out on a gorilla trekking adventure. The trek can take anywhere from half an hour to three-quarters of the day, but the effort is worth it.

The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. On your trek, you are likely to spot other primates, birds, and rare tree species. Once you find the gorillas, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them before trekking back to the park headquarters.

This is indeed an extraordinary feeling to be with these beautiful yet endangered creatures. You will be awarded a certificate for participating in gorilla trekking and thus contributing to the conservation of mountain gorillas.

Day 5

Optional Activities

After breakfast, you can choose to relax at the lodge, go for a community walk, or participate in other optional activities, such as bird watching, nature walks, or visiting the Batwa Pygmies. In the evening, enjoy a celebratory dinner with a performance from the local Batwa community.

Day 6

Departure

After breakfast, we will depart for Kampala or Entebbe, following the same route as when we came, allowing you to enjoy the countryside air one more time. Upon arrival in Kampala or Entebbe, you will be transferred to your hotel or the airport for your onward flight.

A trip to Rome is as much about lapping up the dolce vita lifestyle as gorging on art and culture. Idling around picturesque streets, whiling away hours at streetside cafes, people-watching on pretty piazzas – these are all an integral part of the Roman experience. The tempo rises as the heat of the day gives way to the evening cool and the fashionably dressed aperitivo (pre-dinner drinks) crowd descends on the city's bars and cafes.
